A current case:  Your hospital (Tri-Care Region 2) does not staff its Antepartum and Postpartum wards with enough trained nurses according to the AAP and the ACOG.  Patients are thereby endangered for profit (the HMO company is  non-profit).  If  you report, you will be demoted, or fired, or have your privileges lifted in reprisal, as has happened.  What to do?
