Con: Whether To Practice Medicine In America Ever

Compare our infant mortality and our insurance coverage with other countries.  In important respects, we trail them.

The practice of medicine here is so fraught with frustration that it is better to practice elsewhere.  We have decided as a nation to permit our industrial leaders control our access to doctors.  Companies now pay for their employees' care, and the HMO's fraudulent claims of adequate 'access' have been exposed as 'Enron Medicine'.  There are good reasons NOT to have companies pay the premiums, because patients lose control of their fate and their privacy.  Do you want people in your office peering into your genome?
