                                          Never Again
I learned of Dr. Waite's work in 1983.  My interest grew one morning in Germany at 2 A.M. when I was unable to sleep because our hospital commander had been placing unverified material into physicians' files without notice, or verification, as is required by (U.S.) Army Regulation 40-68.  He is a lawbreaker.  He had done this to my wife and to other doctors.  The year was 1987.  We were stationed in Bremerhaven.  There was no email.  There was no internet.  We were subject to the 'Uniform Code of Military 'Justice' some 5,000 miles from home, and without acess to civilian American courts.  Had there been a web site such as this one, I would have wanted it to offer a guide to justice, including a way without reprisal to identify the perpetrator to others endangered by his possible return to civilian medicine where he might libel and slander doctors for the remainder of his 'executive medicine' career in some HMO, insurance company, or group practice.  We needed a consultant available at the click of a mouse to protect us from Richard William Marcure M.D.
Such is the vision behind this organization--to help doctors find good places to work by keeping them away from persons addicted to libel as a means of personal or financial aggrandizement.. If there is any profession capable of defending the careers and exercising the citizenship rights of its law-abiding members against 'all Enemies, Foreign and Domestic', as stated in the U.S. Constitution, it is this one.  This is our intent.  We would hope that sworn statements exposing wrongdoing serve as a model to all Americans motivated to restore the social contract in our 'Enron nation.'.
